Real-life M.U.L.E.

Amazing video of a quadruped robot, the "BigDog", created by Boston Dynamics. It can carry up to 340 pounds of pack-weight, and immediately reminded me of the title character from M.U.L.E.

    Wow. They did a good job with the horse-style walking and galloping. I think this is the first time I saw a robot with 4 legs walk like this instead of tank wheels, or using some kind of weird rotating pole to push it up.
